1.New Chum Rock
Be careful of the current here, the rock shelters any changes in current flow deceptively. New Chum Rock is flat on top and drops off onto the seabed of sand and rivers of small stones. There are plenty of Blue Cod and the rock walls are fasinating
2. Cape Zach
Littered with reefs and rocky outcrops this is a great dive with something for everyone and the visibilty can be fantastic.
3. Cannonball
A great drift dive while the current is flowing you can cover a large area and see this huge rock reef system with plenty of sponges, bryozoans and hydroids not to mention the abundance of fishlife. A photographers dream dive with generally clear water.
4. Ragged Reef
This is a deep reef that runs between the island and Ragged Point and the current is viscious so keep an eye on the tides. The reef is home for large schools of Butterfly Perch.
5. Greville Rock
A series of large rocks in the centre of the harbour makes an attractive place for all manner of fishlife to make their home with good tidal flow to keep the food coming past. The bottom is about 28metres and visiblity is usually around 10metres.
6. Greville Reef
A series of rocky outcrops inside Ragged Point makes an interesting dive particularly when seeking shelter from a south west wind.
7. The Bluffs
A nice shallow rock wall with plenty of fishlife and interesting photography opportunities.
