1.Old Man Head
A rock rises sharply to 5metres from the bottom at 30metres and is covered in weed at the top making way for feilds of anemones as you decend. This is a great place for pelagics in the summer months. It is very tidal so watch the currents.
2. Razorback
The reef runs perpendicular to the shoreline and drops to around 35metres. The best diving is had by following the reef down and turning right to allow the current to drift you along to Old Man Head, tides permiting.
3. Cabbage patch
A shallow weedy area that has an interesting mix of fishlish Crustaceans and invertebrates. Visbility isn't the greatest and the water silts up quickly as you swin through the weed
4. Broken Back gut
A very interesting gut between the island that has extremely fast flowing water at times but the fish love it altough the rocks can be pretty wind swept.
5. Two Thirds Gut
A shallow rocky bridge breaches the gap between the northern islands when the tide isn't flowing this area has some amazing fishlife and colourful anemones
6. The Twins
The small rock breaking the surface is little testement to the fantastic dive you are about to have here. The seaward side drops away steeply and large schools of Butterfly perch soon surround you and you can barely see the schools of Kingfish cruising behind them on the island side Butterfish play in the weed with abandon.
