1.Goat Rock
The rocky coastline privides a good home for most species and good diving for the beginner divers with little current and reasonable visibility.
2. Totaranui
The rocky point off Totaranui provides a nice Dive site in shallow water where you can find plenty of Rock Lobster in the rocks as well as a few reef fish.
3. Tasmans Tackle
A large Admirals anchor sits upright in about 8metres of water, besides scallops there isn't too much else to see.
4. Coral Gardens
In 30-40metres there are some of New Zealand most primitive coral gardens. There is a lot of silt and visiblity can be poor but it does give the rare opportunity to see corals relatively shallow in Nelson
5. Seperation Point
A favourite for the Crayfish divers as the numbers are plentiful although they do hide well back under the large boulders. The photography opportunities are imense and the water clarity can be good
6. Tonga Nursery
Just off the mooring is a small group of rocks thatprovide shelter for thousands of small crayfish approximately 25-50mm in length. This is an unusual site anywhere.
