1.Chicot Rock
Steep dropoffs and there can be a lot of current, weed fills the crack between the rocks and there are plenty of Butterfish. In the summer months Large Schools of Pelagic gather around the rocks
2. Peiges Rock
The rocks barely break the surface at low tide and there is a mild current most of the time which attracts the pelagics in the summer. The water visibility is usually 6-10metres and there are plenty of nudibranches and fish on this site which drops off to 30metre however most diving can be done in less than 18metres
3. Le Brun Point
Lots of shallow rocky patches and weed and little current, a very macro dive with lots to look at if you take your time and look closely
4. Tawhi Rock (Pirates Cave)
A swim through leads you into a magical chamber sheltered from the sea. An amazing divesite as the sun sets in the west and the interior of the cave turns to gold.
5. Cone Island Reef
A small reef lies just just off Cone Island , at about 13metres. The visiblity is usually around 6metres and the reef supports a healthy population of Butterfly Perch, Blue Moki and Terakihi.
6. Otuatangi Bay
The coast is made up of scattered outcrops which make interesting diving when the wind is from the East
7. Hapuku Island
A old favourite with the cray divers but the crays have long since gone and there is some very good photography to be had, with large schools of fish and plenty of invertebrates.
